When the COVID travel restrictions were lifted, we could re-commence Operation Cabin-in-the-Woods!! (Or is it Operation Cabin-by-the-Lake?? No... that's not very catchy either... we've got to come up with a better name!)
We could finally start making some progress on our little piece of land... but the year was not going to be an easy one apparently... courtesy of one angry Mother Nature.
The one thing we didn't check when looking for our cabin-land, was the susceptibility to forest fires. This year is gonna be interesting.
On this episode we cross our fingers that the forest fires ravaging British Columbia dont get too close.
