First Attempt at DIY Lumber Milling with Alaskan Chainsaw Mill
We continue our off-grid cabin build journey as we tackle our first Alaskan chainsaw mill project! We assemble our mill, overcome challenges when we find out a short 16" bar on our Stihl MS250 may not be big enough, and successfully cut our first lumber from a lodgepole pine. Despite some hiccups, we persevere we now have a 1 plank of timber :-) Looking forward to milling more lumber and living more sustainably off our land.
